The original idea behind Photographics was to reveal the hidden layers of the work I was doing at that time (1995-1996) made up essentially of collages, through the use of macro photography. Surprisingly, what I now call Photographics, became more interesting than the collages themselves, and has since then influenced my work in several fields in ways I never expected.
The 6 images presented here, belong to a large collection of 35mm transparencies taken from a series of collages using a Nikon F90X 35mm camera and a Nikon 60mm macro lens. The images were scanned on a Scitex scanner and printed on a large format Durst Lambda printer.
